If the site is so small, then there's no reason parking should be included...

The pedestrian experience is lacking, though. Ironic considering Laney was interviewed in the fall where he claimed he was interested in urban planning, despite none of his projects being good urbanism.
There are another 9 parking spaces, and bicycle parking on the floor above the ground floor (which isn't the second floor, it's the mezzanine floor), accessible from an alley with access to Albert St.

Damn that's too bad. This is the second ugliest building going up in Ottawa after the one at King Edward/Besserer IMHO.

Ugly by Ottawa standards? That’s pretty strong language!

Hey at least Rod is stepping outside of his classic black and beige brick bubble and experimenting with "grass" windows!

indeed any project that bring more people to live downtown is good to me. A G7 capital with a ghost downtown is just too embarassing.

Not the most glamourous shot but posted for posterity.

There are a LOT of holes in the ground these days. I remember growing up in the 90's and years would go by before seeing a construction crane.

We are so so close to having a copy paste of 1960 Scott right here in the core of our city. So excited

This one is from last week but different angle than Harley. They should be at ground level soon.

Add this one to the crane index lol.

I would love to see similar for Ottawa, because the 90s were almost a total wash.
