I don't know why this one didn't go higher.... all the other new buildings in the area are 20 or more stories. This would've been even nicer as a taller building with its distinctive shape.

This one was done by DA and pre-dated HRMxDesign (as was The Roy). It was probably a big fight at the time.

If you look on the original page of this thread the drawing posted is for a 20 storey building. I remember there being an alteration to the drawings at some point. It could end up the same height as that original one but it did change at some point.

Nonsense. There appears to be a papasan in the corner, and 3 doctor's office waiting room chairs near the centre! Super cozy. Lol!

Anytime outside the evening and the morning, terraces bake in the sun unless you have some kind of shade. The terrace on building is great to have, but would really benefit from some shade.

Sad to see this one topped out Nice narrow tower, interesting shape. Would of loved to see it match the Roy in height at least.

Exactly, we finally got something outside of the residential box in the area. It would have been cool to see it become more a focal point, as opposed to just sort of blending in between the Roy and Maple.

It'll be great when its next-door neighbour isn't a gravel, weed-filled lot!

It is so crazy how that site was meant to be the first major development downtown in x amount of years... and now it is one of the only empty lots in the downtown core!

I saw a picture on Instagram of what looks like glass going up. It was a bad angle though. Can anyone confirm this.

I saw some metal framing on one corner when I was by yesterday.

There's a bunch of metal framing on the Hollis side.
