Fair points.

Aside from having peculiar balconies there is something about that silver/grey aluminum panelling I have never been a fan of. One of the Tribeca buildings uses something similar. Something about it leaves me wanting more. I wouldn't say I dislike it though, not even close.

I think I'm prejudiced because it couldn't be in a more prominent location.

That curve is a great design element to ensure enough space for the Church to maintain its prominence.

Good point!

It certainly more prominent than the renders showed, which is a good thing.

Love the curve so far! Its gonna be a welcomed addition and quite a prominent building (location wise). I'm glad the view from the portage bridge coming from Gatineau is not being destroy by a monstrosity

Hopefully the trees grow a little taller in the Garden.

I wonder if we will see a proposal for the parking lot kitty corner of this building across from the Holiday Inn.

Need something to run some defense on Moons worst angle.

Speaking of defense.. Go Packers! Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!

From Julien on Discord. Sorry you if you can't see it. It's a shot from around the the NE corner of the Portage Bridge and Wellington.

I drive by this view every day, and every day I appreciate how much more it is blocking Moon.

Never noticed how the trees painted the Garden of the Provinces black. What kind of trees are these?

Great spot, but badly needs a seasonal cafe.

Ottawa's most popular skateboard park could definitely use a seasonal cafe

Was hoping this would hide Moon a little bit more but no, we can still see nearly the entire face of the west tower.

I love how the subtle curve protects the church's visibility.
