Rodeo Drive, like all such places that cater to the rich, is a sterile, boring place. It's half-empty because not a lot people can (really) afford to shop there. The others are posers getting into more debt in order to feed their psychological need to feel socially superior.

I'm not a big cyclist myself but I will defend them here. If you ever got your fat a** out of your car for a second and saw the world from a perspective other than from behind a steering wheel you'd see that car drivers are way more self-entitled a**holes that are most cyclists are.

Oh let's not pretend that we all are not anything other than the 99%.

I grew up in Southern California and I always found the RD boring as hell. Nice pictures though- I enjoyed then. But I'd rather be eating a taco on the boulevard while a police chopper spot-light is spinning around over my head -looking for a half-naked, knife-wielding woman -spun-out on speed - hold up in some tree - and surrounded by police scanner hobbyists from the Valley looking for some 'action'.
