They've been putting Starbucks inside some of the Halifax Superstores so it makes sense.

Home Hardware is a building center (Riverside Dr.), and the third Home Hardware in Stratford is going to be a building center. Plus there is another specialty location of Home Hardware plumbing and lighting (4 home hardware total locations). You go outside of Charlottetown 20km, and there is another Timber Mart plus another big Home Hardware Building center.

I buy a lot of Starbucks coffee off the shelf at the Superstore. I used to get their bottled cold brew, but they haven't had any in months.

Yarmouth has a Kent and Home Hardware with 6,500. Stratford is near double that and they will now have a Home Hardware. The folks who own Home Hardware have seen the potential as there is a lot going on there with new homes, new subdivisions, etc. I wonder if Kent.....huumm!. Shoppers Drug Mart finally got things going there. Walmart? I can't wait until the new census comes out.

Found this!! Coras and East Side Marios!! See above quote!

If they do as well as that Starbucks around the corner, they'll nail it!! That Starbucks is busy, busy, always!!

192 Sherwood Rd - Truck Maintenance & Warehouse

Several foundations are completed and a new one has started beyond the ones in the photo.
This is a busy area right now with all the construction going on.
Lots of jobs coming up!!

You heard that they’re both going on there, and this was from someone with good info? I’d be pumped to see them both open, but I find it difficult to believe two new restaurants would open right now given the pandemic situation.

Both of these restaurants rate about a 4-5/10 with me. Could care less if they ever set up here again.

IRAC rejects appeal to stop nine-storey
student residence from proceeding at UPEI

Glad to see!! Dah! If IRAC decided against it, it would have been all taken down and returned to its original condition. HOW STUPID IS THAT!
Imagine, one person can hold up a project based on that 'they don't like it'. IRAC has to get out of building appeals, it's choking Charlottetown's progress with
6 other projects presently held up in limbo.

The sign on the building said East Side Marios, I know that for sure, and another business that I can't remember. It was an earlier post by someone else that said Coras was the other. So far there hasn't been any acknowledgement by Plaza Reit Corp online that I can see that this is the case for either. We're just going by what we saw. So we'll have to wait and see I guess.
More to follow on this I'm sure....

One of the restaurants is Pizza Delight. There was the never a east side Mario’s sign there. The eastside Mario sigh was across the street in the Charlottetown Mall Parking lot. 2nd restaurant will be announced soon it is not coras.
