One here overnight. Woman killed a man on Carter’s Hill, just around the corner from where I’m likely moving if home inspection goes well. Rumour mill is she’s a skinny woman with addiction issues who lived at the corner of what will be my new street. When I was there for my viewing, I saw such a woman losing her mind at some guy for drinking their beer. They came out of a half-boarded up house at the end of my new block. I bet it was them.
Never ever would’ve felt any sense of danger from such people. They’re everywhere downtown and can be a bit aggressive begging but otherwise are almost always sweet to strangers.

Gatineau probably had its second and third murders of the year yesterday. The bodies of two children and a man were found in a residence in the newer suburban Plateau district of the city, which is on the border between the former cities of Hull and Aylmer.
Everything points to a murder-suicide.
We have very few murders but the ones we do have are very often "family dramas" such as this one.

The incident at Saint-Apollinaire a while back immediately comes to mind.
