Pics by me today.

The cladding over that pipe is not flush.

The aluminum panels form two-tone light coloured stripes.
I think they have the lighter panelling to match the Law Society Building next door.

That pipe is covered but still protruding. It has scarred the building for life

From Boffo twitter Oct 21.

The alley side podium roof courtyard looks shaded and dark.

Chunky louvres.
I think there will also be some airfoil type louvres as well (there was a sample on the Smithe side) - but that could have changed.
These may look cleaner.

Pics by me today.

Lots more louvres up.
Looks good.

Podium caldding wraps the alley corner now.

Note the change in style from the test (?) louvres installed in June 2020:

More louvres being installed.
There's a slight variation in spacing at the bottom of each storey.

^Coming in along Cambie bridge this morning, it had all the hallmarks of "another project with blinding lumen levels?".

There will be a stained glass type of enclosure.
They tested a panel during the summer.
It'll probably end up looking like the ceiling of The Arc's pool / amenity area.

But they'll probably have to tone it down.
It does look like overkill.

The base of the building is quite decent looking. And that's all you need to make a big difference in how the building is perceived. At street level, you are not too cognizant of what goes on above 30 or 40 feet anyways.
