One could argue quite successfully that this building falls under postmodern architecture, which was a varied style that emerged largely in the 1980's as a response to modernism. It was an attempt, thought by many to be unsuccessful, of bringing back some of the elements of classic architectural styles (art deco included), but somewhat simplified and with contemporary materials. I'm drastically oversimplifying it, but you get the gist.
My characterization of this style as "revivalist" is simply because our "periods" of art and style these days tend to last less than 20 years, so theoretically we're out of the architectural postmodern "era" and into something else. But in reality, "revivalist" is just another name that really means the same thing as postmodernism.
I had no idea this was a Novare building. Definitely one of their best buildings, IMO. It seems their designs have been getting better and better over the last few buildings. Let's hope this trend continues.
