It will be tough for Edmonton to take it in the Dome, but I believe they can win tomorrow or back in Edmonton.

Calgary seems delated and distracted.

To be fair, Calgary played a tough first series and worked very hard over the seven games. The Oilers, on the other hand, played seven games, but slept through a couple of the games and large portions of a couple of others. they should be better rested.

Only $60, a small amount compared to the $400 I got making my annual happiness hedge bet against the Leafs. I'll be avoiding the rest of this series though that's for sure.

Tkachuk just couldn't stop one guy on that last goal.
That's tough to see him right there not stopping one guy as it goes in.

They should name an Albertan ghost town after Tkachuck.

Yep. In my best Maxwell Smart voice: "Missed it by that much."

Hats off to Edmonton, especially Draisaitl after game one. 17 points in 5 games?!? You know who scored more points in a 5 game series? NO ONE! Gretzky had 15 in a 5 game series. Also set the record for assists in a series.

Rick Middleton 1982-83
Boston Bruins vs. Buffalo Sabres
19 - 7 games, 5 goals 14 assists

Wayne Gretzky 1984-85
Edmonton Oilers vs. Chicago Blackhawks
18 - 6 games, 4 goals 14 assists

Mario Lemieux 1991-92
Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Washington Capitals
17 - 6 games, 7 goals 10 assists

Leon Draisaitl 2021-22
Edmonton Oilers vs. Calgary Flames
17 - 5 games, 2 goals 15 assists

Probably a good thing they are going to be able to rest the 8 forwards they have for a couple of extra days.

The skate was repositioned to push the puck in. I'm not sold that the puck would have gone in without the assist. The back spin was taking it in another direction slowing it down. Note: I don't no if that constitutes a goal or no goal.

I have no idea how the next round will go. The odds probably favour the defense and goaltending catching up to Edmonton but, they can score goals right now

This goal was allowed.

The Flames gave away too many leads in the series and didn't deserve to win. But they absolutely deserved a game 6.

The NHL should be ashamed.

I remember when Joel Otto from the Calgary Flames kicked a puck into the net in game 7 against the Canucks in 1989. It was the winning goal and it knocked the Canucks out of the playoffs. This is the year the Flames won the cup.
Zero sympathy
