Well, thankfully the whole city doesn't feel like the area shown in these photos.


But they're good pictures if you're a fan of Times Square / South Midtown.

No, the entire city doesn't feel or look like these photos. But if you walk the streets of Manhattan, from the Battery all the way uptown (and certain areas of the other boroughs - with the possible exception of Staten Island), it all feels the same. In fact, many of those photos are from Downtown Manhattan.
