Another mystery grocery store crossed my mind. At least, a mystery grocery store pad site. There are one, maybe two, former grocery stores in Northeast Austin east of Berkman. If memory serves, one of them is at Gaston Place and Briarcliff (a few blocks east of the shopping center at Berkman and Briarcliff where the Eckerd's is). Then there's yet another supermarket-sized building at Wheeless and Gaston Place, near Northeast Drive.

Anyone know what these buildings started out as?
