I was in a meeting where the new government education complex was mentioned. This will house the UNC system office (offices moved from Chapel Hill), the community college system office, the department of education I believe as well as maybe another?

Anyway, the buildings will be on Jones between Salisbury and McDowell where the administration building currently is. The block will have 2 floors of underground parking, and on top will be a five floor building and an 8 floor building. There will be a 250 seat auditorium as well. I haven't seen these specs mentioned anywhere else yet.

Raleigh is a huge and exiting city. It’s like a southern version of Columbus, Ohio.
