Is Terminal 2 the X-shaped midfield terminal that was always planned?

I only landed there last September and left by train so I didn't get much of a chance to explore again.

Beautiful!

I didn't have a chance to check out Terminal 2 when I was traveling in March. I used Cathay Pacific, but terminal 1 looked very nice as well.

aye, it's a wee ripper of an airport.

The Airport express is equally as superb.

No, it's also known as Skyplaza, east of the original terminal. The in-field X terminal is in the original plan, but not UC yet.

Hopefully someday, I'll get to see what another country looks like. That looks like a monster gorgious place over there!

Thanks for the pics, only been to terminal 1 myself on Cathay Pacific. It is still my favorite airport of all time, KLIA is also up there, but HK is still the one to beat.

Last month on my trip to Japan, I ventured into Terminal 2 after checking in my luggage. The airline counters weren't occupied yet, but the shops have already opened.

I had this dumpling set for like USD3.50, which I think is a bargain for an airport eatery. I can't even find something at that price where I work.

I love the wide-openness of that airport. Lovely stuff.

I've taken at least a couple of shots each time I've been through HKG .
