Helicopters

Anybody else love pictures of helicopters?

Here are a few. Post your own.

Random copter from Grant Park:

McMurdo heli carrying something. It's fun watching them land with their cargo.

This beast was ferrying some visitors from a Chinese Research Vessel to McMurdo (we later ran into them visiting Scott Base, where somehow they thought we were supposed to be their greeting party since we arrived there at the same time. That was awkward).

Not every day you see a helicopter on a plane:

Channel 7:

This NSF helicopter also seems to have a camera?

Don't know the make or model, but this was over Imerovigli, Santorini. A sightseeing helicopter I presume?

Needless to say, I'm sure the view up there was spectacular, as it was from on land. The nickname "Balcony to the Aegean" certainly lives up to its name.
