No way. This is just the type of stuff our design review loves to see. Most of the stuff that gets trashed is because it's too big or bulky (Ladd Tower), causes the destruction of historic architecture (Ladd Tower), infringes on park or public space (Ladd Tower), has FARs based on polemical numbers (The Allegro), or is located in a neighborhood where the locals have little appreciation for good design and wish that everything our talented young architects produced looked as if it were designed and built in the 1920s. (See Apple Store, anything proposed on Mississippi Ave, NW Portland, and even north of the Fremont Bridge. They'll love it. There's no one in that neighborhood to piss off.
