San Patria, California - A Google Sketchup City

Hello!

I was inspired by Praesidium, so I decided to give a Sketchup city one last try, and I've truly got the hang of it. A teaser for tomorrow, when I provide a full update, but I hereby give you:

SAN PATRIA, CALIFORNIA

Located in Northern California approximately where Eureka/Acarta is:

Updates coming soon!
Anthony

Excellent! Great pictures! I'm glad that I inspired you, I can't wait for San Patria! Ironically enough, there are three Patricks on this forum (including myself) who will love the name!

Best of Luck!

Also - Is it possible to place Praesidium on the Official SSP map? I'd appreciate it greatly.

^ Yes, I am the second! Excellent start, I can't wait for more!!

And to put Praesidium on the map, just save the picture and add it. Or, if you're not sure on what to do, one of us will gladly put it on there.

Correct! As far as being a newb, I was such a total newb as well, but I made the mistake of not asking questions, which is a good thing that you are doing. I spent weeks upon weeks trying to figure out what to do.

Okay, I got this far:

I couldn't get rid of the irritating white background of the text, and I tried my best to match the font. Oh well...

EDIT: Nevermind

Patrick,

Thank you! It's by far my favorite building I've made Archetecturally. I may actually add the old tallest from Beveraux into this city, the one that sorta twists upward and is made of glass.

The preliminary name is the Lunacom Tower, but that's likely to change, it's a boring name, I think. Lunacom is based off of either Viacom or AOL Time Warner, which, in any case, Lunacom is a giant Media conglomerate.
