A few North American cities are experiencing a >600' (183 m) tall apartment boom: NYC, Chi, Tor, Miami, Austin, etc.. Some other big cities haven't even started: Houston, Dallas, Phil, Marfa, etc.. Haven't the majority of taller skyscrapers built in the last few years been apartment or mixed use instead of just office? I remember when Lake Point Tower in Chicago was the only pure apartment building >600' (183 m) tall. Houston may be oversaturated with office towers now and developers don't seem interested in building residences taller than mid-forties in floors, so I don't see Houston on the list for a while.

Suburbia is great. Big houses, big yards, good schools, & less crime. Do your family a favor & move out of the city and to the suburbs.
