Québec City at 0 - Province at 9.

It is truly weird, this year in the province of QC.

68 in 2013
71 in 2014
79 in 2015

Remember in a typical year, Montreal will have half of the murders.

9 is pretty good! Still less than a Rate of 0.2 Per 100,000 People! Remember Quebec has over 8.3 Million People I love this Country lol!

Portland has five murders after a fatal shooting in the Old Town area just north of downtown:

Man killed, woman wounded in NW Portland shooting

Vancouver actually has four murders after a man injured in a shooting in May ended up dying from those injuries. That would be this case:

SUV driver killed in targeted shooting on Vancouver's West Side

SF is at 26 after a fatal shooting next to SFSU/lake merced. That's up from 25 at this time last year.

Oakland is at 27, down from 42 at this time last year.

SJ is at 22, up from 8 at this time last year.

What's your point? Boston has about 650,000 people...a little more than Baltimore and about the same as Memphis. Compare murder rates to those peer cities, if you'd like. Population is more important that area.

Exactly! That's why for a US City its size Boston is fairly good for Crime.
