Well the crane on the office side was disassembled yesterday (2/9) between 11 AM - 4 PM. Wonder if the speculation that the hole left behind will be an elevator shaft is correct? This picture is from 1:55 PM on the 10th.

Just realized they pulled the tower crane down from the office portion. Strange they pulled it before completing the facade. Seems like that would have been the better option instead of using a mobile crane to put up the glass?

I am betting a mobile crane is cheaper than a tower crane, and the mobile crane is easy to move and reach the height of the office portion.

Tower crane was already up. At this point, renting out the mobile crane would probably be more expensive than leaving the tower crane for another month.

It's visible. I just didn't check this thread until yesterday. Still wondering why they would have pulled the tower crane before completing the facade though? It's kind of unusual to put up a facade with a mobile crane in the middle of a busy downtown block such as this when they already had a tower crane up. But anyway, I can't wait till Fry's is done and opens. I will be there opening day

Grabbed some update shots on my lunch today. The facade is starting to look good on both the office and residential portions.

What are all the white cubes on the top of the office part of Block 23? Insulation for the roof or something?

So they're running this massive office building off a bunch of 2 ton rooftop AC units?

WOW, looking at the web cam, that early morning glare of the sun reflecting off of Cityscape onto the north west side of Block 23 apts.

The glass on the office portion is pretty interesting. It changes to other shades from different angles. When I was walking Downtown the other day, it appeared black when approaching from the East and when was West of it, it was kinda silver'ish. Other angles, I have seen it look from deep blue to light blue. Very cool to see the differences.
