It's been pretty packed for several years - AHS moved in just as CN was moving out. Maybe you're thinking of the City of Edmonton that moved in a few years ago?

It is nearly fully leased right now with the exception of some ackward shaped space on floors 5 (partial floor only as the parkade goes up there) and 15 (only floor with elevator lobby on both sides which gives quite a bit less useable space on the floor).

The building badly needs renovations though.

The green Girder panel building at the ledge(the first AGT tower) is used by the government. last time I was in there doing some work Education was using it..

CN needs some upgrade work. I had thought there were upgrades to the HVAC by when I was in there the induction system wasn't working properly.

well if they aren't going to implode it , then i hope it gets, what sounds to me like, it's badly needed upgrading inside, maybe bring it into the 21st century. has anyone heard of any outside refurbishment for the CN tower?

The old fort was just above the stern wheeler location.

Also there was a lumber mill on the north side as well as a coal mine.I have a book published in 1914 that shows some of that location.

I had a meeting up in TD Tower late Friday afternoon. I was able to take a few minutes to snap some photos.

Haven't posted any photos for a few years so hope this works...

^The Law Courts and Chancerry look so out of place against City Hall, AGA, and the Winspear.

There’s another just like it down from Terwilliger. But I'm not one for modern sculpture.
