I can't believe they can't buy that sliver building out and just take the whole corner.

That building is new construction. It’s more surprising that they wouldn’t try to make this sliver residential.

I know it's pretty new but in the big scheme of things should be acquired and incorporated into the project site. I love interior block slivers but that is going to look absolutely ridiculous next to a new tower. Ironically if it was the old diner still sitting there I think I wouldn't have a problem with it staying for charm's sake.

This is just a study? And not yet a real proposal, is it?

According to official YIMBY information, AAI Architects would be registered as a registered architect.

Not a study, those images are what's currently filed with the DOB. The study was the wind tunnel test, which all buildings go through.

Well then the official drawings for this project wouldn't be bad.

Will this be a hotel high-rise or a residential high-rise? Just imagine the overview from the roof garden with views of Hudson Yards, Manhattan West and the PABT redevelopment.

It's an office building. I believe it's already financed? There was a recent article in Crains NY Business.

I wish it were bigger/taller. It's really a small lot, and I wish they would expand the footprint and get something more monumental, like its neighbors.

It will be good filler, I guess. Design seems decent and the terraces look cool.

This could be an interesting project as Adamson Associates sometimes works with Foster and Partners.
