These 2 blocks are supposed to be done this fall, then the next 2 blocks next year.

Its really to bad there is not more street level business' between Talbot/Ridout I think its pretty much all service ontario in the main floor is the old Bell building correct?

Day 6, April 17: A little snowy and bus bay demolition complete. Starting to destroy the sidewalks edge by the roadway now (everything within the orange fences).

First floor of the Bell building has Service Ontario, Impark office and a small cafe.

I think the stretch between Talbot and Ridout is kind of a waste for this project. I just don’t see street festivals going down there. If the Bud does anything, it naturally takes over Talbot and over to the Market. And as stated above, there aren’t really any businesses along there that would take advantage of a closed road. But I guess they had to do the underground work anyway.

Day 7, April 18:

Snow has melted. Not much else it seems but there is some wiring and piping work going on now. (London Hyrdo truck is there)
-Temporary power poles are also being set up.

I am out of the office until Tuesday, April 24 so no update pics from me until then!

Some updates:

Some work east of Richmond has started

Starting May 1, the intersection of Talbot and Dundas will close, so I have a great vantage point to cover that work!
