Looks like they are forming for the 39th floor walls and posts now. Only one more residential floor before the mechanical penthouse and roof top features. They have also started installing the glass balconies and the balcony concrete trim work. Got around 4 floors of those now installed. For some reason they have made no progress finishing the west wall around the parking ramp to wrap up the podium base on that side. They have made progress forming and pouring the 4th floor walls and posts in the center section and have the 4th floor slab formed in the NE corner of the 29s north condo tower. Once they have finished the 4th floor slab the podium base level is done and the remaining floors are cookie cutter until the roof.

Nice.

Looks like the last floor (40th) will have a higher ceiling height befitting a top floor. Should be pouring the roof slab by end of next week and forming started for the mechanical penthouse and rooftop features. Hopefully Old Oaks has plans for some nice LED lighting of the penthouse features.

Small milestone with the removal of the concrete pump boom tower being lowered to the ground and trucked away from the 40s south tower. They will have to use the old concrete bucket when they fill the wall and post forms of the mechanical penthouse. Progress on the 10s and 29s sections has been painfully slow for some reason. Not sure why things have slowed so much?

They were pouring the 5th floor slab in the NE corner of the 29s condo tower today. No signs of forming for the 5th floor slab of the 10s middle building even thou they have the posts and walls poured for the 4th floor.

Forming only now getting started for the 5th floor slab in the 10s middle section. They have now made some progress pouring some of the 5th floor walls and posts in the 29s north condo tower. Slowly doing the custom forming for the mechanical penthouse and rooftop features which will include a gym room on top of the 40s rental south tower.

Will be interesting to follow the vacancy rates for the new buildings that will be opening this year in the downtown.

Old Oak has updated their website for Centro. The 40s south tower will start seeing tenants this year as they are making alot of progress finishing the lower floors now. The mechanical penthouse is also making progress with alot of the main structural elements of walls and posts nearing completion. Will likely still take another month to complete the rooftop elements. Pouring a section of the 6th floor slab in the north 29s condo tower today. For some reason the middle section which is 10s has got little attention so far with some of the 4th floor walls and posts not even formed as of yet.

Thanks. I messaged Old Oak on IG and got a response that leasing will begin in April for occupancy early in 2025.

The 40s south tower is effectively topped out now with the installation of the rooftop HVAC chiller unit. They have also been making progress installing the SE corner lobby glass walls.

The CTV article has recent photo of the 40s Centro south tower and speaks to the challenges for economic development ahead of today's Ontario budget.

Looking forward to seeing more photos in the future from the top of Centro's 40s tower like this one looking SW in this LFP article. Maybe CTV or others might sponsor a tower webcam being installed on the top looking in different directions.
