Her initial comments had “both sides” energy, the timing was inappropriate but it appeared her and Stiles worked out an agreement to continue and to learn from this. Unfortunately she continued to act unilaterally against party wishes so got the boot.

This is the same anywhere else. Imagine City of Hamilton staff using official letter head to make a controversial announcement. They would be reprimanded and if they continued acting like this they would be dismissed.
