The big white sphere in the upper lobby will be open to the public "in a couple of weeks", a hostess told me yesterday (so early/mid-May, I guess), describing it as an "immersive experience". The show lasts 7-8 minutes, plus unloading and loading the audience, figure 4 shows an hour. It's Comcast employees only right now. The entrance is between the sphere and the south wall, so basically tucked away invisibly from the public spaces across from the coffee shop.

The wood block lobby floor is falling apart already and the same material is used on the planters on the north side, which are falling apart in panels. The 'wood blocks' are just 4" square cross-grain slices of wood about 3/4" thick, with voids filled with wood putty that's disappearing from flexing during use. Voids all over the place.

Here's one of the planters falling apart by the NE corner door; the wood putty is the light stuff. That steel grate at the bottom is held in place by gobs of spray foam around the perimeter; looks like fungus.

And the trees are really dusty, as is the roof over the entrance doors. Not a good first impression.

Looks great to me. I didn't see any issues in the lobby last week, but I did see the employees getting the Sphere show.

Does anyone have word on an opening date for the Four Seasons?

Oh, and thanks for the awesome pics. Even when I’m not engaged in conversation, I, like I’m sure many other people, come here for the fantastic pictures!

Worth a peruse. Says "Mid-2019" - so I'm guessing June/July?

sorry if this has been asked & answered already but what's the deal with the section of the spine that seems to be unlit in most of the shots, breaking up that perfect street to lantern bright light?
