Wink MIAMI | 100 Biscayne | 1,049 FT | 104 FLOORS

Developer Proposes 104-Story Tower In Downtown Miami
https://www.thenextmiami.com/another...owntown-miami/

Quote:
Preliminary plans show it would include:

1,074 residential units (averaging 1,268 square feet)
252 hotel keys (averaging 540 square feet)
1,013 parking spaces

The Yve Hotel, an adjacent parking garage, and a 12-story office building at 141 NE 3rd Ave would be demolished.

Last year, a request was filed to include the properties in Miami-Dade’s Rapid Transit Zoning plan. The move would allow for county oversight of development on the property, rather than city.
Zyscovich, which is based in the New World Tower, is listed as the architect for the new tower.

Cool! But I'll get more excited when I find out which developer / we see actual renderings.

Nice to hear though. Miami is burning up (in a good way)

The developer info is in the article :

The companies, which are said to be affiliates of RFR Realty, control the Yve and New World Tower office building, along with the parking garage and smaller office building. All were acquired in 2022.
RFR’s holdings include the Chrysler Building.

More on RFR Realty :

RFR Holding LLC is a Manhattan based, privately controlled real estate investment, development and management company founded in 1991.
Today the firm is known for owning and managing some of Manhattan’s most prestigious signature office properties, including 375 Park Avenue (The Seagram Building) and 405 Lexington (The Chrysler Building).

RFR has built a world-class portfolio of commercial and residential real estate, including many of New York’s signature office towers, ultra-luxury condominiums, hotels and high-end retail developments.

Proposed massing, not the final rendering, it's just meant to give you an idea.

Because most of those lots are owned by Miami-Dade Community College.

Gotcha, does the college have any plans for the site ? Also, I seem to recall a highrise proposal that was going to wrap around the Freedom Tower.

The Chateau Group had plans for two surface parking lots, but they have since been cancelled.
