Brasília: Bradutch representation office to open in the capital of Brazil
Bradutch is to open a representative office in Brasília continuing its expansion in Brazil after having recently opened offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina and Ceará.
Brasília is the capital of Brazil and seat of the three branches of the government: Legislative, Executive and Judiciary. It is, therefore, the centre of the most important political decisions of the country, including those that can directly affect foreign investments. It is also the seat of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Brazil and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (ApexBrasil).
Besides being the political centre of Brazil, Brasília is the third largest economy and has the highest GDP per capita in the country, three times more than the Brazilian average. Given its high purchasing power, Brasilia has become a gateway to the luxury market, especially regarding sophisticated products and high-end real estate. The economy is dominated by the services sector, especially in the areas of communications and finance.
The office will be led by Joyce Dias, a lawyer with more than 13 years of international experience and qualified in Brazil, Portugal and the Netherlands. She also holds a master’s degree in International Law from the University of Cambridge. In 2011, Joyce Dias founded her law firm in Amsterdam and, after returning to Brazil in 2014, she has continued her practice in Brasilia where she mainly represents foreign clients doing business in Brazil.
“It is an honour to represent Bradutch in Brasilia, the political centre of our country. This representation is of strategic importance to promote investments between Brazil and the Netherlands, mainly through inter-governmental dialogue, which will therefore facilitate cooperation agreements between the two countries and the promotion of business opportunities. In addition, our goal is to highlight Brasilia as a destination for Dutch investors whilst also attracting companies from Brasília to invest in The Netherlands.” affirmed Joyce Dias.
