I didn't, and I still can't find it?

It's a statue called Playing at George Street and it's dedicated to Ron Hynes, who is depicted playing his guitar as the main feature (on the other side) of the statue.

I'm assuming you probably know who he is, but just in case (I get caught all the time with my foot in my mouth, assuming everyone knows big things here): he was a founding member of the Wonderful Grand Band, which kicked off a great number of things, Codco, political satire in North America, the drag queen scene in St. John's, and numerous comedians and careers.

He's best remembered for two songs that have become as dear to Newfoundlanders as our old national anthem, and almost as often performed.

St. John's fashion was a scary thing in the 70s/80s:

Oh we've had our share of history
We've seen nations come and go
We've seen battles rage over land and stage
200 years or more

For glory or for freedom
Or for country, or for King
For money, or fame
But there are no names on the graves where men lie sleeping

Oh the 9-to-5s survive the day with a sigh, and a dose of salts
They're parking their cars, and packing the bars
And dancing the St. John's Waltz

So leave the wayward free to wander
Leave the restless free to roam
If it's rocks in the bay or it's old cliche
You'll find your way back home
So don't question or inquire
What's been gained, what's been lost
In this world of romance, don't miss out on your chance
To be dancin' the St. John's Waltz
And, of course, Sonny's Dream:

That's quite likely the most amazing Toronto shot I've ever seen. If there was a guy walking by in a Leafs jersey or something it would have nearly every Toronto symbol in one shot.

You just need to get the address for the actual image (as opposed to the webpage it's on) and put after the address without any spaces.

Hit "quote" on my post to see the actual format.

Exactly. Everything I love about Toronto: the streetcars, CN tower, wide sidewalks, TONS of pedestrians, the cyclists.

I need to do a photo tour of London at some point.

A neat little project near South Granville in Vancouver that finished a short while ago:

Not bad compared to the render

The details, such as the bamboo screening the condo units from the bridge viaduct, are what make this project great. And what's a Vancouver project without some space for a local boutique and a yoga studio...
