Flashmobbing takes place about once a month in London - the usual block parties, congas, pillow fights, zombie marches, naked bikerides, train parties and tea dances followed by a pint at the nearest pub after. The best yet was this, one of the most favourited youtube vids of all time - in the heart of the West End:

the most infamous one, the Last Chance - drinking alcohol banned on The London Underground by the new mayor Boris Johnson - the last day before the ban was imposed May 31st 2008. Result: thousands of partgoers take over the network and mainline stations in probably the largest ever gathering of its kind:
