5th and Yesler (05/15):

7th and Madison (05/18):

8th and Seneca (05/18):

Seems like there's been some problems with keeping the site secure...

My take is that 5th and Columbia is not going to happen any time soon, maybe anytime in the next 5 years barring a dramatic turn-around in the economy or a major reshuffling of building-use in other older towers (from office to residential).

Some updates from today. There's no much change but I wanted to share anyways.

Olive 8: Looks kinda mehh. I really expected it to look better. I feel like a light blue would've looked way better.

Escala: The crown is looking pretty freakin' good. I still love it and I see new details every time I see it from different angles. I love the large balconies. I wish I lived there

West 8th: It's looking really good. I'm getting uses to the office-looking side. I expected more glass all around but it looks good nonetheless.

Enso: I only got one shot from the back but it's something.

Aspira: I love editing the perspective of this building, it just has an awesome render-like feel to it. And it's a great addition to the area.

1918 8th: Another great addition. I love the way the building overpowers all the buildings around it. It has a great presence and has this important corporate feeling to it.

5th & Yesler: It has some good angles. This is definitely a good one. It also looks good from the corner of Yesler and the freeway exit. But it doesn't look really good from the South. The West side of the building is okay.

And finally a pano-like shot of the Denny-Triangle area.

I went by 2nd & Pine today and they were taking down scaffolding/construction fencing. Guess the hole will be there for a while....
