Nice! is the 195m conformed or just an estimated height? Also, imagine the skyline if CF starts with 750/600 Peel. Would be nice if they get started on those projects soon and also get a height increase as well.

BRIVIA GROUP TO BUILD MONTREAL’S TALLEST RESIDENTIAL TOWER IN PHILLIPS SQUARE

Quote:
MONTREAL, May 30, 2019 – Brivia Group is proud to present the first architectural drawings of a major real estate project planned for the area surrounding Phillips Square in downtown Montreal. There will be three phases to the project, which will include a 61-storey residential tower that is 220 metres above sea level. The first phase represents an investment of about $400 million, and the completed project could cost $1 billion.

1 Square Phillips Brivia

The first tower will comprise more than 500 residential units, with an upscale hotel to be added to the project at a later date. This is Brivia Group’s fifth major project in Montreal, along with YUL Condominium and QuinzeCent.

Brivia Group’s project will be built between Place Phillips and Saint Alexandre streets, in the block bordered by Sainte Catherine Street and René Lévesque Boulevard. The site is currently used as a parking lot.

This huge project will play a role in revitalizing this sector of downtown Montreal by welcoming 789 new residents, thereby contributing to the development of nearby businesses and redevelopment efforts on Sainte Catherine Street. This site is an important crossroads between the business district, Montreal’s shopping district, McGill University and Place des Festival

The elevation of this lot is 32-33m above sea level. That would put the height of the building at around 187m, and a little over 3m per floor, assuming 61 floors.

For comparison, Maestria's lot is 30-32m above sea level.

Victoria sur le Parc is 14-15m above sea level.

well, this just came in, they want this to be the tallest in Montréal!

so this is 220m Above sea level!

but is this including sea level 220m ? or above sea level ?

that would be awesome... and it's a great looking project.

is there a height limit in Montreal? would love to see a new tallest that's clearly the tallest and give the skyline a real peak.

Looks like construction is going to be starting soon! They announced the start July 16 in this article and mentioned "a height of 232.5 m above sea level"

Gonna be awesome to see this, VSP, National Bank HQ, Maestria and the others all go up around the same time

So this is the 4th 200m UC/proposed (others are BN HQ, VSLP and Maestria #2) and 5th over 180 metres. And there's rumours of another 200m proposed across from 1000 de La Gauchetiere. What an amazing boom the last few years
