It’ll look good, just wish it was taller.

^^^ Nice shot McGrath. West Market used to be depressing dead zone between say 21-22nd Street to the river but it's popping now.

The last steel being topped out on this one gives it such a more commanding presence on Market when coming from the West than it had even just a week ago.

All the information states that the building will be 20 stories, but the renders seem to indicate only 18 stories (6 blocks of 3 floor segments)

Most articles say 19. I don’t remember why I put 12 stories in the OP, but at least that absolves me of changing the title of the thread to 20 stories.

I drove by it this weekend, it adds a whole different feel to Market ST.

Also did they change the rest of the street lamps to LEDS? or as it been like that.

Another thing I noticed is that stretch of market st has the tallest buildings in Philly I think for a office corridor we did that very very good, it has the perfect mix of retail and offices as well.

Only thing we need now is that Subway stop at 20th?

An extra subway stop would be really nice between 15th and 30th. Although tbh I always enjoy walking around this area so I like to walk from 30th to City Hall most of the time.

The MFL tracks run inside of the trolley tracks during this stretch which is why this area is so problematic to get another MFL stop here. Ideally they'd just remove the trolley stop at 19th or 22nd and make it an El stop but they'd still need to lower the trolley tracks to cross into the platform. Here's a photo you can see the El passing behind the trolley tracks at 19th: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/woAbT7O-J8M/maxresdefault.jpg

In the recent Transit plan one of the goals is to build the subway stop @20th.

However Mcgrath will know how soon that plan will come to life. Paging Dr.Mcgrath whats the status on that project?
