P5 - 2/14/23

- They poured the ramps from P4 to P5 last week.
- P5 NE corner ready to pour tomorrow

For those discussing the large number of parking levels the design does have two ramps on each level back to back so you can go up two levels with one circle if you stay on the ramps.

2/21/23 - p5

- Poured western 1/3 of P5 this morning.
- Pouring elevator cores in afternoon
- Rebar work in SE corner of P5
- They have erected a large wall south of the elevator cores. It seems to be a load transfer structure to get a structural column for upper floors in the middle of the span that was the open loading dock on the ground floor.

Wouldn’t this be P4 leading to P5?

I don't think so. P2 is the transition level not visible on the edge. P3 is the partial wraparound level with the bike room. P4 is the 1st level that goes above the lobby and P5 is the current construction level. At least that's how I read the floorplans.

I think 15 excluding the ground level loading area - according to the floorplan binder on the buildings website.

It's actually P5 heading up to P6. The transfer wall stops just above P7.

There’s no 13th floor…

True...I stand corrected.
Although, not being the superstitious type, I've never understood why some bldg's are that way and some aren't.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen any building with a 13th floor. Some even dedicate what would be the 13th to mechanical.

Maybe that’s where the affordable units are. I’m sure some buildings do have a 13th floor, but I don’t think I’ve ever been in one.

Visit New York City. You'll find thousands of 13th floors.

Been there plenty of times. I’m sure some buildings have them, but I’m also pretty sure most do not have 13th floor. And it’s not just an American thing to omit the 13th.
