Riverhawks clinch a spot in the West Coast League Playoffs!

The Edmonton Riverhawks will host the first playoff game in franchise history on Saturday, August 10th at 7:00 pm MT. The doors to the party will open at 5:30 pm.

The Hawks will be facing the Bellingham Bells, sparking a promising new rivalry with the baseball powerhouse from Washington State.

Due to travel considerations, Edmonton will host the opening game of the three-game series, with Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) taking place in Bellingham.

Tickets are on sale now! Please note that our general admission seating has been converted to a reserved layout to provide a smooth stadium experience for our fans, as we anticipate a packed house for playoffs!

Come join the fun as we highlight the season’s top party moments with some of your favourite guests, contests, and entertainment, all alongside a historic baseball matchup for the Riverhawks organization.

I know it was only preseason but they did not look very good. The amount of mental energy from last seasons run burn them out.

I am seeing a tough first 10 games. Hope I am wrong.

Oilers game on Prime Video. Some really sweet shots of the city when they go to commercial.

My first time to the DCR for an 'LRT Series' between da Bears and the Griffs. A decent crowd out to support both teams and solid hockey played, but they really need to up their food/bev game. No booze is fine given that it is a city rink, but a vending machine that is sold out of 40% of its offerings is not a reasonable substitute. I did appreciate the offering by the MacEwan staff of a free bag of chips (passed), but how about some sort of cantina? Loved that they did a t-shirt toss, gave out mini sticks to kids and had mascots from both teams there; GUBA FTW! GO BEARS!

5 unanswered after a strong start by the Griffons, with it being 10-2 if not for their goalie who faced 38 shots. Great to see the MacEwan program improving though (they won last night).

Still a shame about losing those curved glulams to this boring arse steel structure.

Absolute garbage that both were 'equal' in the eyes of the law.

Myers was far more egregious, but whatever, it's a forced recuperation for our main man.

If the boys cannot get up for tonight's game, I really wonder what their true state is over there.

We shall see.
