A very sad day for an industry leader in safety and a sober reminder that no one is immune. My support goes out to the families of both the victims.

Wow, that video is an awesome keepsake of 2010! I've totally added it to my favorites list.

Thanks nobase2010!

R.I.P. The construction worker who fell from the roof of Canada Place has passed away. So sad

Sounds like the floatplane terminal is running into some heavy weather. Operators don't want to pay the $12 per passenger levy.

Not surprised that this story has gone public in the hopes of trying to get the province to lower the rental rates. Don't think they will get much public support, but it might help them score a better rate regardless.

There is another rumour that they now want to relocate to next to the Helijet terminal. While it's a better location, pretty sure the VPA is still not to receptive to that idea, not to mention that decision should've been made before construction of the new terminal.

I've never been to India so perhaps I don't know any better, but how exactly is Vancouver, and the Convention Centre location in particular, supposed to pull off looking like India? Also, why not shoot the India scenes when they were filming in Dubai?

Anywho, this must at least add one more exotic international location to the already lengthy list of places that Vancouver can apparently pull off substitution for in films.

Why can't Mission Impossible take place IN Vancouver?? Still not sure how they're going to pull off the Bangalore look in city... in the middle of winter. Sure, it's Vancouver, but it's still Canada, lol.

^I dislike the series (well, I enjoyed the first two), but I'll watch it because Vancouver will play itself. I still haven't got the awful taste of Ecks vs Sever out of my mouth. At the very least, I hope FD 5 is a palate cleanser.
