Anyone know why there was action at the top last Saturday and Sunday but not today and yesterday when the weather was perfect?

The steel for the perimeter columns didn't come in.

Sorry for what? I've always been one guy on a laptop doing it in my spare time. Not a team with formal training. I don't own a render farm. Like everything, even virtual things, one bumps up against a limit of time and money. I just wish that dbox had made more accurate designs. They had access to info I could only dream of.

Ahhhhh. As soon as 1 WTC is open, I'm gonna be right there with you on the observation deck(s), Carlos! I am so envious you get to be treated to this view every day.

One thing that has been bugging me, though... Why that huge five-story dip in the exterior cladding? If they'd get that part put in, then it wouldn't bug me so much.

I suppose it is because of the crane on the side of the building.

This is the 1st time you can see close detail of the beams that create the 90th floor.

Wow, that's just like the view I had from the 99th floor in the North Tower. I miss that view.

First they have to finish installing the floor beams. Next comes the decking. Only then will we see the outer columns installed.

And just an FYI NewYorkSkyline117 ... You ask a lot of questions that no one here has direct knowledge of... like the one above. Who knows when they will be. As I stated above, there are a few more things that have to happen before the columns will be installed. Just Saying!

The glass is 13'4'' tall all the way to the top from what I have seen so there are still outer beams every 13'4'' on the larger floors. The 1 row of beams that are between the 89th and 90th floors are what the glass is mounted to. Am I wrong from what anyone else knows?
