So how many feet tall does the Chrysler building look to you? At what point does it stop registering? Or how about the ESB--does its top roof not register to your eyes, being as narrow as much of 1WTC's spire?

On a side note, does anyone know of a rendering that shows the tower at night with the beacon shining? I never came across one, so I was just wondering...

New World Trade Center at night. Credits to WTC.com.





Note: Changes have been made to One World Trade Center's base so it looks different, and the X beams have been removed from Three World Trade Center.

The columns are two floors high. Each column equals 2 floors.

Yeah, I've noticed people on these forums tend to overlook or under appreciate the effect that beacon will have. It has no other comparison in history.

Look at the pictures I posted. You can see that there is light coming off the roofs of the new buildings.
