King's Club will dramatically improve that stretch of King West. The Pan Am Games buildings are very disappointing though. They're bare bones that border on banal. I had high hopes for this area, but it looks like there will be little reason to ever visit it.

I hate it too. The building on the left is the old Four Season's Hotel. Two 225 m condo towers were proposed for this site a few years back, but were shot down because they'd be visible from University Avenue to the south of the provincial legislature. Apparently sky is the only permitted backdrop. It's absolutely absurd.

I really like 202 Bathurst. Such a creative way to frame what would otherwise be boring corner balconies. The big "202" at street level is a little gimmicky, though.

Agreed. It certainly works for the balconies. I would, however, prefer more stories on top.

A motel being demolished. I think this is the site where Lago is to be built. Lago is 49 floors.

Hopefully it's dead in it's current form. The architecture on that one has about a 5 year shelf life at best.
