Coro Realty Advisors is scaling back dramatically for the present time on plans it filed almost a year ago for a major multi-use development on Piedmont Road, adjacent to the Disco Kroger shopping center. Original plans included almost 40,000 square feet of retail/restaurant/office space, a 186-room hotel and 190 apartment units.
Coro’s founder and President John Lundeen told BuckheadView earlier this month that the hotel is the only part of the project that is moving forward at this time. He did not discuss the reason the company is scaling back on the plans first announced by BuckheadView last August.
50 Allen Plaza (the skyline defining tower that was to go in parking lot across from W downtown)
1400 Peachtree Street (750k sq ft project, dunno what this one is)
Metropolitan Center (17th and W. Peachtree Mixed-use project)
17th street (another large office 440k sq ft unsure what this refers to)
1125 Peachtree Street
Lindbergh Tower (225k sq ft. office building near Lindbergh station)
3346 Peachtree Rd. (350k sq. ft. office, never heard of this and nothing turns up in search except the old Sovereign building rezoning)
Also new render of 98 14th
This does not look as tall as previous pics compared to IBM Tower???
When is this and the apartment building, on the left, in the rendering breaking ground?
I am also having a hard time figuring out which lots these are both going on.
North of 11th St on either side of Howell Mill. Star Metals is on the east side of the road. Apartment is west, where north side tavern will remain on the northeast side of the block.
If anyone wants to contact their councilmember and/or the city about the plan to knock down the 1930 Engineer's Bookstore building and replace it with a suburban gas station, here's the land development permit to reference (Record LD-201600074): https://aca.accela.com/atlanta_ga/Cap/Ca...gencyCode=ATLANTA_GA&IsToShowInspection=
He's already paid the fees on this, so it's moving forward quickly.
