very exciting that Lockheed Martin, Boeing , Space X and Blue Origin are all serious potential tenants of the office campus. These companies having major presence in the region could be huge for the metro area.

here are a few quotes from the article:
“ The Space Campus will be located in a 50-acre plot near the heart of the 829-acre Michoud Assembly Facility. According to Fudickar, many of the buildings at Michoud date back to the 1940s, so the more modern Space Campus will likely be very appealing to companies like Boeing and Lockheed Martin to move their offices to the Space Campus.”

“ According to Fudickar, Michoud has also courted SpaceX and Blue Origins before, but their buildings currently aren’t up to the specifications they need. He said providing the Space Campus with a variety of new buildings could change that, adding that it may attract new aerospace companies that may crop up in the future.

“We absolutely want to make a very attractive reason for those companies to migrate and populate, in the aerospace world, here,” Fudickar said.”

That's it. Thanks. First I'm hearing of it. (That's the right turn lane from Orleans onto Moss in the bottom right corner).

Maybe it doesn't show up as a moss address but that part of the street is now Moss Street after they changed the rest to Norman c Francis (the post office was at 501 N. JDP but is now 501 Moss).

Pair of local brothers buy driveshack site from Joe Jaeger, want to purchase the original plans and add some of their own touches. Partnering with Flite golf who develops this sort of thing but sounds like it will have a non-chain name.https://www.nola.com/news/business/n...ource=facebook

I haven't played golf in years but the idea of hitting a target and having it explode is kind of cool in a really juvenile way. Yeah here's to hoping it actually works out this time.
