Provided they get financing.

Man, funky columns. Also, that beam looks like it's at grade or close to it.

I really hope Larry is in talks with some tenants because this thing is picking up with progress. Regardless, it’s a very interesting tower to watch rise thus far, and we’re not even at street level.

^ Love those views. At least we know what's getting built here, even if construction comes to a pause for a while.

There has to be a couple of corporations out there that would be interested in such a piece of premium real estate. I would hope that Mr Silverstein is quietly working on obtaining the financing to finish this truly beautiful Tower.

Quote:
"Today, for the first time since 9/11, every part of the new World Trade Center is under construction," developer Larry Silverstein said.

Crews have completed the foundation on World Trade Center 2 and 3, and the buildings have risen to street level from about 80 feet below ground.

One World Trade Center has climbed to 80 floors, while 4 World Trade Center has reached 48 floors out of 72, officials said.

"I expect these buildings to be impregnable," Silverstein said when asked if the new structures could withstand an earthquake.

Red face

It would be really nice to hear news of financing for at least one of these two remaining towers by the 10th Anniversary commemorations. I don't know if I should hold my breath, tho......
200G would be the preferred one for me.

I'm picturing a huge grin on Zen's face, looking at all those cranes and all that steel.

There were some nice images of tower 2 on last nights Discovery programming on the rebuilding. I'll try to get some screenshots.

I imagine that they will, most likely a major tennant of this tower would likely be a foreign company, which one I can't say but given current economic climates I'd say it would be major companies in Asia and the middle-east, like India's HDFC Bank.
