It feels like the top 1/4 of Evolution has been devoid of glass and progress all summer. Have they been shifting workers to the other 2 buildings to get them ready beforehand or something?

The first residents of First are moving in today. Making them the first residents in with the new developments.

Edit: That's a lot of "first" in the above sentence.

The glass has been moving at about the pace of concrete - the tower has been moving up all summer and is now at or very near topping out.

Dang not bad at all. I'm really liking the introduction of black cladding into this city. Looks like stucco, but still not bad for a 70s "meh" rental.

Man, that hostel went from being in the toilet bowl of Calgary, to possibly one of the best in the city once the area is fully built out. Talk about good fortune (a well deserved one though, for sticking it out).

The flood was also good fortune. Got a bunch of insurance money to redo nearly all the interior I believe

No doubt! Hopefully they will not re-install the bars on the windows once the exterior work is complete.

It was always in such a bad location. It's nice to see it's getting an uplift at the same time as the neighborhood is getting an uplift.

I walked around East Village and St Patrick's Island yesterday. I still find it hard to believe sometimes at how much the area has changed in such a short time.

Theat ramp down to the island is just like I thought... It looks like a complete afterthought.

It looks like it was added to the bridge a while after the bridge was done.

It's look notwithstanding it is incredibly busy and could have been wider. It was packed yesterday afternoon.
