I agree. That building Would be an eyesore. Hopefully it gets rejected.

Two more downtown tower proposals on the Brooklyn site. 13 story office and 33 story residental! Exciting proposal for sure. I walked by Brooklyn last night and there seemed to be some machinery on site, I'll get some pictures at the weekend.

Nice, more high rise proposals for downtown!
At 3 floors shorter than the taller One Water Street tower, I wonder how tall this new tower will be. Awesome to see a 13 story office tower downtown too!

The article also says that construction should begin in March for Brooklyn. That’s awesome.

Is this for the old Woolworth site ? If so that would be fantastic.

Very neat to see all these proposals in Kelowna, the city is really growing up rapidly.

Only 15 units in that 8 story condo building, no way that is getting approved in that form.

It is horrible and odd, but it's not quite on Pandosy, setback a little bit on that weird Boyce Crescent that only serves that property behind Chevron, so it'll be quite hidden. I don't know if there's a market for oversized to grossly oversized 1 and 2 bedroom units in that area however.

It's hard to believe that building isn't an April Fool's prank, but it isn't, in fact it's the first thing that shows up at the Calgary architecture firm XC Architecture's website: http://xcarchitecture.wixsite.com/xcarchitecture

If these are the kind of proposals Kelowna gets, I think I finally understand why downtown is all low rises

Wow. This growth spurt that Kelowna is going through is quite something.

The base of the office tower in that rendering looks very promising.

So do these now take the total of active tower projects (proposed and u/c) in Kelowna to 8 now?

If so what a transformation to see in the coming few years.

Still really hoping to see the 138 meter hotel project see the light of day.

It looks like some site prep may be under way for the proposed Landmark 7 office building. Excavator on site moving some dirt. Not 100% sure, but I think I saw some survey stakes.

I remember reading that they planned to start work on the tower in the spring, so that makes sense.

I ran into somebody that works for Al Stober Construction and he said that they were starting construction in March.

Any chance anyone here can compile a list of all the current projects u/c and proposed? (Name, height (floors and metres if available), location and status)?

This could help in updating the Kelowna diagram / section.

I'll have a go later if there are no other takers.

Let me know if there are any missing buildings or incorrect data.

That is awesome, thanks!

Are those prospera towers the ones proposed for the stadium parking lot?

Still really really hoping for the Westcorp tower to go through. Love the design, location, and it would be the perfect pinnacle.

PS, I reposted your list on the Canada section, hope that is okay!

No problem, it was quite interesting going through the applications I had forgotten about some of them. Thanks for reposting, maybe we will get some traction with the diagrams!

Yes the Prospera towers are in front of the stadium, I don't know if they have an official name yet. They are decent looking towers too, I hope its a serious proposal.

Thanks for the list, mountainman. It definitely helps put everything going on in Kelowna in perspective.
