The Stadler plant appears to have more land for even further expansion. I think there was additional land to the east as well.

Didn't see BSL report on this one yet (500W, 300N). I like the rounded corners and use of brick.

This project adds 50 units of multi-tiered affordable housing with direct set asides provided for homeless, refugee, and physically disabled households. Additionally, there will be 2 market rate units that provide flexible spaces for residents to work from home if desired, a product type with great demand in this community. Half of the project units are large family units with three and four bedrooms. Specifically, there are 6 4-bedroom, 20 3-bedroom, 16 2-bedroom, and 10 studio units.

Citizen West

Love the project and that part of town is really coming online. Does anyone know if Citizen West 2&3 have started?

Utah Woolen Mills building

It looks like the Utah Woolen Mills building is about to be demolished.

Does anyone know what is taking its place?

Hopefully a beautiful highrise! (I can dream cant I?)

This is a nice-looking project. It replaces what was supposed to be an office building, I believe. The architect made the Hardware building look odd in the schematic. Are they altering the west facing side of the building? The area is becoming quite dense. Now we need to work on the parallel blocks from the west side of the tracks.

I'm pretty sure this IS the WEST SIDE of the track. It is not the Hardware.

My mistake. I looked at the drawing and was having a hard time placing this one. I initially thought it was to be built on the Hardware Parking lot. This is going in place of the old Diamond Mattress building.

There will be quite a bit of density on that corner.

BSL did report on this quite some time ago but it was just a brief mention along with a number of other mentions and preliminary designs.
The design has changed some from the original.

It looks like BSL just updated their report on Citizen West II, III & IV this morning. Construction on II & III pictured below is well underway.

Does anyone on this thread know what is going to replace the soon-to-be demolished Utah Woolen Mills Building?

It looks like the building boom has been yielding results.

Average rent in Salt Lake City is down 6% in the last year, which is the 3rd-largest drop of any city. Austin had the biggest drop - amazingly, average rent in Austin is now lower than Salt Lake.

Does anyone have any updates on some towers? Like the Ryan Smith towers, The Grid, The Soren, Main Street, and that new 300e tower?

Also, Whatever happened to that 14 storyish building that Orlando was working on, next to the proposed Sundial?

I'm not entirely sure since I no longer work there, but I assume that it is on hold.

Should be interesting to see, they're also hosing a summer X games in Sacramento about 3-weeks later. I may head to that one instead, since I travel that way more often for work.
