150,000 sq. ft of flex office space in three buildings at the Hopewell development off Bishop Grandin (sugar beet lands). Looks like the parcel next door will have identical development.

I don't like that this has access to bishop grandin, If the inner ring road is to one day be a true free flowing highway then it needs to be treated as such.

It's a proper right in right out. In what is the exit lane to Waverely. Not the worst thing IMO. Need to limit these types of things for sure though. Fer sher.

Actually extended the exit lane all the way from Waverley to there. Makes it basically a 3 lane road.

^ At least the RIRO is an improvement... 20 years ago that would have been a full on intersection with traffic light.

Hmm. Project W site comes to mind. That'd be awesome. Maybe Wawanesa lot on Broadway.

Looking forward to hearing about both projects. "Surface lot on an important corner"? A downtown surface lot, perhaps?

I hope so... it would be a lot less exciting if the surface lot in question was at, say, McPhillips and Templeton

the one I know of is not a particularly important corner per se, but it is a corner with a big parking lot on it.

Main and Broadway..? (seems like a good candidate if Wawanesa is moving).

Main and York..?

I would rank main and broadway as an important corner.

It isn't much, but after sitting forlorn and shunned for so long after the fire, you can finally see blue tarps draped over the roof in some sections of the disaster downtown Hyatt Place development. If the building is at least capable of being salvaged structurally and sold to someone more motivated/capable, there may be hope!
