wow! the memorial got booked fast!. no more tickets left for October when i visit. oh well, I'll still visit the site anyway, and will plan in advance for my next visit. I remember a few weeks ago, there were still some spots available... i'm glad to see that public is interested, and can enjoy the site.

BTW: does anyone know what time the "golden" lights come one?

and yeah, these memorials are stunning, and they look amazing under that lighting!!!.. when the whole complex is complete, without any of the construction, it's going to feel a lot different! with skyscrapers looming overhead....

Thank you for the amazing photos, from all of us who cannot be there. Especially for those who have had friends and loved ones taken from them.

I was fortunate. I was to attend a brunch at Windows of the World, and was late.

No need to thank me guys!!! like I told Dave84 this was a very personal journey there, I was there 10 years ago and witnessed in person the attacks and horrible ways that people died. 10 years later i felt a clam peacuful feeling, i did not feel angry or confused, i was at peace and let what happened 10 years ago there just be.

Haha nonsense, you just saved this poor Chicagoan a lot of money for a plane ticket to New York, Carlos. Very good set of photos, it's probably the most amazing public space I have ever seen. (in photos, anyway

Just amazing Carlos, shouldn't expect less from you.

From the photos, this has surpassed any and all expectations I had for it. This will only get more gorgeous as the leaves begin to turn, and autumn really starts to set in.

Can't wait to get into the memorial for myself, and I could look at those renders of the new transportation hub all day.
