I wonder if this is the spot where they're going to put the bronze statue of the Goddess Nike.

There will be benches and planters.
As far as I know the statue of Nike is set to go to QE Park.

Say what? There are like 10 new towers in the pender and bute area that all have retail. all the way to the west end and even more in the cardero area.

I'm not worried, because the plaza is several stories above the water level. The apparent horizon of the edge of the plaza is being hurt more by the lone planter with a sprig of bush sticking out of it (to the right of the 8-bit orca).

If you can see a plane in the flight centre from that location on the plaza, someone has managed to put floats on an A380.
THAT I'd want to see!

its not the planes - its the structure to reach the planes that i don't wanna see - they are putting a structure that will break up the vista we currently have since a big chunk of it rises above the level of the plaza

The wood part of the Olympic Clock will be moved to Jack Poole Plaza according to the security guard. Also, I don't know if this is the truth or just a rumour, but according the security guard, people at the art gallery were saying that the Olympic Clock was put on an auction and Bill Gates end winning the clock. But he end up donating it back to the city of Vancouver.
