P.S. Stuck in Dallas suburbs for business meetings - good god please save me. Seriously. This place makes Roseville look like LA.

I would say yes, it would probably be about 2 or 3 floors high. But that's just a guess and it might even be a bit agressive. Work has been on hold about 2 months now, and when they resume construction, there will be about a month work just to get the remaining piles driven for TII and pour slabs, etc. Also, the first few floors will be the slowest to go up, and the first 10 (about the height of the podium) will also be slow. I would think that once they get past the podium, they'll raise about a floor/week, maybe more.
I used to know all of this stuff like the back of my hand, now I forget!

hmm, why do you say construction will be slow at first? is it because the site is now a wildlife habitat?

not reallly; more to do with the fact that the first few floors have irregular floorplans.

Also that the first 10 will be a whole block. That's like a pour for the foundation 10 times over. Lotta concrete and a lotta drying time.

I like your positive thinking.

Hopefully we'll hear something soon....

LOL! I'll try and remember and bring my camera back to work and get a pic the next time I see the egret... With the warmer weather, the 'wetlands' may just begin to dry up. Come to think about it, I haven't seen my duck couple for a few days.

There are more lawyers involved with this project than construction workers.

Well, considering that there isn't any construction going on by constrution workers, I'll have to assume you're correct.

That's funny but sad.

Things will have to come to a head one way or another relatively quickly-within 6 weeks or so.

Better hope Nassi comes through with Aura in the next 16 days.

Looks like were going to have another big hole in the downtown area again. Well that will replace the one we had on J st. What would Sacramento be without a big hole downtown?
