A few pictures I've taken while travelling to other Canadian cities. Most of these are from June, 2012:
Calgary, Alberta: I was very impressed by Calgary. It came across as wealthy and large but manageable. And I LOVED the apartment buildings with floor-to-ceiling windows. There aren't many Canadian cities with apartment options that beautiful.
Toronto, Ontario: I had much closer shots but, unfortunately, lost them. I loved Toronto as well. Lake Ontario doesn't feel like the sea at all (Oddly. I thought it would, given its size). BUT the city still has a culture of enjoying the water so I felt right at home.
Winnipeg, Manitoba: Parts of it are very attractive and some of the new buildings, like the Manitoba Hydro Building and the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, are very impressive.
My favourite part was The Exchange. It was like St. John's but on a grander, taller scale:
