Yeah, based on what I've heard over the years I don't think I'd live in a wood-framed MURB unless I had no other choice.

Built with wood?

Good luck to anyone who isn't on the top floor.

The noise is unbearable.

Noticed some fresh site services supplies on site today at the larger multi-family project at Pembina and Jubilee.

Also, at a lunch today was told that the Halo project -the 2 towers at the south end of Pembina by the Perimeter is 50% leased in under a month. The second tower (south tower) will be complete in Jan of 2024. Lease rates from $1300 to $2300 for regular units and $2200 to $4000 for the penthouse units on the top four floors or each tower. Largest penthouse is 3 bed, 1900 sq ft.

That is great news about the Pembina/Jubilee project. It's such a good location for a development like that. Nice scale too, it fills out the lot.

Lots of Hydro activity today on old Pembina Hotel site. Keeping fingers crossed that this project moves along smoothly unlike the Donald and St. Mary project.

Driving by Pembina and I gotta say it looks so out of place (in a good way).

Can’t wait for the other 2 buildings. Any updates on the 12 storey replacing the Pemby?

Apparently most of the projects in this thread that have been delayed or put on hold in the last year due to the interest rate increase are starting to show signs of movement to construction.
